About Time is an upcoming British flick revolving around a young man (Domhnall Gleeson) trying to change his past to have a better future. It comes from Richard Curtis who wrote Love Actually, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral. If you like any of those films and Adam Sandler’s 50 First Dates, then you’ll love this one. Due to the time traveling aspect, Gleeson accidentally erases his own timeline and has to win over Rachel McAdams’ character over and over again.
Forthcoming disc has you covered with tunes by Russian one-hit wonders t.A.T.u (All The Things She Said) and Brit sensations Sugababes. The Cure and Nick Cave bring some veteran experience to the table, while The Killers, Ellie Goulding and Amy Winehouse bring it home for the kids. Ben Folds reminds everyone he’s still around with a new version of ""The Luckiest"" while we’re just glad to see Ron Sexsmith in the mix as well. With a heartfelt ballad recorded by Ellie Goulding included in the film, I fully expect to shed a few tears watching About Time. The 26-year-old English songbird covers The Waterboys’ 1990 track “How Long Will I Love You.” Goulding strips down the track, giving it a sad romantic vibe. As much as I love an uptempo track, I feel Ellie shines the brightest with this type of moody affair."
